Applied Labels : Review and Giveaway!

As a mom of two kindergartners, I find that stuff that is sent to school often gets misplaced, lost or forgotten. Easily. From gloves, to jackets, to glasses. I almost had a coronary when my son "lost" his $300 glasses. Sure we'd written his name inside the case but over time that had worn. Fortunately, they resurfaced a few days later in the lost and found. We were lucky... that time.

Enter Applied Labels. At first glance these labels appeared like something that could be done on any laser printer. Honestly, I was a little hesitant to review them. But when I received my packet I was clearly proven wrong.

Not only do they have a completely professional appearance, these suckers are indestructable.

Applied Labels, a company started by a chemical engineer turned mompreneur produces such high quality labels they withstood sweaty kid feet, several washing machine cycles, rain and snow. They are easy to apply and a challenge to remove, which is exactly what I like. The twins loved putting labels with their very own name on their coats, shoes and backpacks. In fact they loved it so much I've found Applied Labels on socks, dolls, toys and on food packages in the pantry. I know...but what can I say - my kids totally got a kick out of them.

I loved the peace of mind they gave me that my kids would return home with the items they'd gone to school with.

Ideal for daycare, preschool or camp, Applied Labels come in your choice of 4 fonts and can be ordered in quantities of 30,60 or 90.

And because I found them so useful, I'd like to share them with one of you.

One lucky winner will receive a $50 gift certificate to Applied Labels. Go on check 'em out. Then come back and leave me a comment telling me how you'd use your labels. One lucky winner will be selected at random from all comments received by 04/10.

Good luck!

Oh my gosh, these labels are so handy. I would totally use them to label my son's underwear. I'm tired of him coming home from daycare in someone elses underwear!

These sound great! I would use them to label my son's books! He loves books and has so many of them, he takes them to school and these labels would help him not to lose so many...I'd also use them to label his clothes, hats, water bottles...so many uses!

I'd use these to label the dishes and extra clothing I sent to daycare with my little one. Thanks!!

I would put them on my daughters books so she doesn't "share" all of them and then we have no idea where they are!

These would be great for summer camp - my kids NEVER come home with everything they brought!

My answer is EVERYWHERE! I would give them to my sister for my nephew and soon-to-be born niece. I'm sure there are plenty of their toys, cups, everything that could use a label. Thanks for the great giveaway!

Cool. I would use these exactly the same way you do, to keep track of my kindergartener's stuff at school. Then I might label everything I own so that I can tell my family not to touch that, it's mine, see, there's my name right there!

Tupperware, bar pans, water bottles... all the things we take places and forget to grab on the way out!

I would use it to keep track of all the stuff we cart around to family functions, I am sick of someone getting my good stuff and I end up with their crappy stuff :(

So far my daughters have done a pretty good job of keeping track of their things, but I would still really like to add some labels because Daddy is the one who tends to absentmindedly lose things. Just last month he was shopping with our 2-year-old and took off her coat and left it in the store. Fortunately it was turned in by another shopper, but I just know our future cups, hats, gloves, sweaters, etc aren't going to be so lucky!

Thanks!

I'd order some with just our last name so the whole family can use them for any clothing item, luggage, casserole dish, and anything else that we take out of the house.
